Featuring rare access to the Nike HQ in Portland, this is the last in our 7 part 'In The Studio' series for the New York Times.
Our film takes you inside the Nike research lab where data helps designers understand how athletes like Le Bron James move during a game. Shooting several interviews in multiple locations across the 10,000 employee campus demanded a pretty brutal shooting schedule, as well as a fast, agile crew which we had been developing over the course of the series. During the filming we also interviewed Nikes Vice President, John Hoke who talking about his dyslexia, doodling and a pair of unexpectedly weird shoes that inspire him. We also spoke to the VP of footwear and the wider team.
